What This Covers
This policy applies to mcmurryfitness.com, operated by McMurry Fitness Systems, including the Busy Professional Fitness Audit quiz at mcmurryfitness.com/audit.
McMurry Fitness Systems is a sole proprietorship operated by Maylon McMurry. “We,” “our,” and “us” refer to McMurry Fitness Systems. “You” refers to anyone who visits the site or submits information through it.
What We Collect and Where
On the Main Website (mcmurryfitness.com)
The main site does not have contact forms or email sign-up fields. The only interaction points are:
Calendly booking (Start Here page)
If you book a Discovery Call, you submit your name, email address, and selected time directly to Calendly's servers. This information does not pass through McMurry Fitness Systems' servers. Calendly's privacy policy governs how that data is handled: calendly.com/privacy.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It collects anonymized data about page visits and performance — no personally identifiable information, no cross-site tracking, no cookies. You are not tracked across sessions or sites.
On the Fitness Audit Quiz (mcmurryfitness.com/audit)
When you complete and submit the quiz, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your quiz responses — including information about your current schedule, fitness history, goals, and self-assessed availability
- Your calculated readiness score and tier (Ready Now, Moderate, or Needs Work)
- The timestamp of your submission
This is the primary point of data collection for McMurry Fitness Systems.
Where Your Data Goes
When you submit the quiz, your information moves through the following systems. We document this transparently so you know exactly what happens.
Step 1 — Zapier (Automation)
Your quiz submission is sent to Zapier via a secure webhook. Zapier is an automation platform that routes data between services. It temporarily processes your submission before passing it to its destinations. Zapier does not store your data long-term and does not use it for advertising.

Step 2 — Notion (Lead Management Database)
Zapier creates a record in a private Notion database accessible only to Maylon McMurry. This database stores your name, email, quiz score, tier, and responses for the purpose of following up about coaching services.

Step 3 — Gmail (Internal Notification)
Zapier sends a notification email to maylonmcmurry@gmail.com summarizing your submission. This is an internal operational alert — it goes to one inbox and is used to prompt a timely follow-up. Your information is not forwarded or shared from this inbox.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to evaluate whether coaching may be a good fit and to follow up with you about it.
Specifically:
- To score your quiz and assign a lead tier
- To reach out via email to discuss your results and next steps
- To book a Discovery Call if you request one
- To send relevant coaching-related communications
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with any third party for their marketing purposes.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not run Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or any retargeting scripts on either site.
- We do not use cookies on the main site.
- We do not collect payment information — payments are processed directly through Stripe for signed clients only, and are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
- We do not collect health information beyond what you voluntarily share in quiz responses.
Data Retention
Quiz submissions are retained in the Notion Lead Management database indefinitely unless you request deletion. If you become a client, your lead record may be linked to your client file. If you do not become a client, your record remains in the database for reference.
Calendly booking data is retained according to Calendly's own retention policies.
Vercel Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated — it cannot be linked to individual users and is retained by Vercel per their policies.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate information be corrected
- Deletion — request that your information be deleted from our systems
- Opt-out — request that we stop sending you follow-up communications at any time

We do not control how these services handle data. We've linked their policies so you can review them directly.
Security
Quiz submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. The Notion database storing lead records is private and accessible only to Maylon McMurry. We do not store your data in any publicly accessible location.
That said, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
Children
Both sites are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through either site, contact us at maylonmcmurry@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy — such as adding a new data destination or changing how we use your information — we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We will not notify you of minor edits.
